CPRE Cheshire 2011 Summer Walk

Our 2011 summer walk will start from the Timbersbrook car park and head up to the top of the Cloud through public footpaths, stopping to take a look at The Bridestones, a neolithic burial chamber and scheduled ancient monument, before continuing to the top of the Cloud. We will walk down on the other side of the hill to take advantage of the views towards Macclesfield before returning to the car park in time for a picnic lunch. Those who wish to may add on an optional loop down to the canal at the edge of Congleton for views of the Cloud.
