Calling all Cheshire photographers - where is your favourite green space in Cheshire?
CPRE Cheshire has been campaigning for our county's countryside for the last 80 years - not just the two new Unitary Authorities, but also Halton, Stockport, Trafford, Warrington, Wallasey and Birkenhead - and we want your help in recording our county's wonderful countryside and green spaces for our 2009 photography competition.
From the wilds of the peaks to the fertile plains, Cheshire has so many wonderful green spaces, and we want your help in recording them. We're not just interested in Cheshire's open countryside - if you have a favourite green space within a town - maybe a park or garden - we would love to hear about it.
We welcome entries from all age groups - a child's view of Cheshire's breathing spaces is just as important to us!

Your photos will be added to CPRE Cheshire's online photo library, and twelve will be selected to feature in CPRE Cheshire's 2010 calendar. Winners will receive a free copy of the calendar, which will also be available to purchase from CPRE Cheshire at £9.99., with all profits going to the charity.
To enter our competition, take a photo of your favourite green space in Cheshire, and tell us what makes it special to you in no more than 20 words. In order to do justice to your photo when it is printed out, we need a high quality image - you'll need to use at least a 2 Megapixel camera set to the highest resolution.
To enter, please email your photograph to us before the closing date of 15th October 2009, with the following information:
Name
Address
Age (10 and under/ 11-18 / over 18)
