We also have an interview with farmer Simon Bennett, whose farm we visited on the last family farm walk of 2011. We had a brilliant time and learnt a lot about the economics and practicalities of farming. it's easy to forget how tough the financial situation facing many of our farmers is, so please make the effort to support your local producers and suppliers when you're shopping for your Christmas lunch.
