Spring walk and talk: 27th April 2022, Higher Burwardsley
Thanks to those who joined us for a walk around the beautiful Cheshire village of Burwardsley on April 26th!
Our spring walk saw us explore countryside around Higher Burwardsley, before tea and cake at Chandlers Cafe. We also had the opportunity to chat with a Trustee of the Sandstone Ridge Trust, who brought us up to date on progress in establishing the Sandstone Ridge Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
CPRE has long supported the aspiration of the Sandstone Ridge Trust to establish the Ridge as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our spring walk was planned to give members the chance to experience the natural beauty of the area for themselves!
Walkers enjoyed spectacular views, wonderful weather, good company, and a lovely spread of cakes with tea and coffee at Chandlers Cafe. See a few photos from the day below.
We hope to hold an autumn walk in the Tushingham area: please contact us if you would like us to email more information to you once the details have been finalised.
