Local group crowd-fund to try to protect Windmill Woods, Knutsford

Local campaigners are working to raise the funds necessary to purchase a patch of woodland with a high level of habitat distinctiveness, in order to safeguard it for the local community as a public open space.

Windmill Wood, a 35-acre site in Toft, at the edge of Knutsford, has been put up for auction on August 23rd, 2023.

The Save Windmill Wood group has been set up to raise funds in the hope of purchasing the site to safeguard it as a site for the community.
