Farm shops in Cheshire
We’re lucky here in Cheshire to have many bustling and vibrant farm shops, all providing fantastic fresh food. To help you explore what’s available, we’ve put together a list.
Some farm shops listed sell fresh produce, some have a butcher, some have cafes and children’s play areas. Others may be specialised – such as the three honey farms! Where possible we have provided contact numbers, websites or social media links to check up-to-date opening times.
By supporting farm shops, you’re not only supporting local farmers and local infrastructure, but also minimising your carbon footprint, eating seasonally and shopping more sustainably.
Whilst every effort has gone into compiling an up-to-date list, details and indeed businesses change quickly. If any of this information is out of date – or if we’ve missed somewhere – please contact us.
The list is alphabetical by nearest town across the Cheshire area (and just outside!).

CPRE and farming
Farmers are central to tackling the interconnected crises of securing our food supply, restoring nature, and stabilising the climate as well as sustaining the health of the countryside. We believe the farmed countryside must be protected from potentially damaging or unnecessary developments and other uses which will deplete its natural assets and the long term benefits they provide. We also believe farmers should be properly rewarded for their work.
