Centenary event and AGM 2026

Join us for our CPRE centenary event and 2026 Cheshire group AGM on Tuesday 22 September at Willington Hall near Tarporley.

After a short Annual General Meeting, we’ll enjoy a presentation on CPRE’s evolution over the last 100 years plus an update on recent local activities.

Find out how and why CPRE started, and celebrate what the organisation has achieved for the countryside.

The event will end with tea and cake.

Willington Hall is a beautiful Georgian country house set in 19 acres of gardens and landscaped grounds, offering the opportunity for a relaxing stroll before or after the event. And if you fancy a treat, you could start the afternoon with lunch in the hotel’s Gainsborough Restaurant.

The event will start at 2pm and finish around 4.30pm.

Proxy votes needed please

If you’re a member and you don’t plan to come, please complete and send back the proxy voting form to ensure we have enough votes to complete the formal business of the meeting.
